Automatic Depalletizer
Application This equipment is widely applied in food & beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, logistics and other industries. For the food and beverage sector, it is suitable for depalletizing glass bottles, aluminum cans and tin containers for beer and various beverages. Main Components Conveying System It consists of infeed and outfeed chain conveyors. The infeed conveyor delivers fully loaded pallets to the depalletizing station, while the outfeed conveyor transports unloaded products to downstream processing or storage areas. Lifting System Composed of motors, gear reducers, chains and guide rails, it lifts palletized goods to the optimal height for depalletizing. The full-pallet lifting station of certain models features a dual-guide cantilever structure and adopts high-strength roller chains for power transmission, ensuring smooth lifting. Photoelectric sensors are installed at the top for positioning detection, enabling precise height regulation. Depalletizing Actuators Three mainstream types are available: vacuum suction, clamping and pusher mechanisms. The suction type handles products via vacuum cups; the clamping type secures goods by encircling them; the pusher type pushes products off the pallet. Control System It is equipped with a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and a touch screen, supporting automatic operation, parameter configuration and fault diagnosis. Operators can easily set parameters including depalletizing speed, layer quantity and pallet pattern, and monitor the equipment operating status in real time via the touch screen. Working Principle First, a forklift or other handling equipment places loaded pallets onto the infeed conveyor of the depalletizer. The conveyor transports pallets to the designated depalletizing position, and the lifting system raises pallets and goods to the required height. Following pre-set programs, the actuator picks, clamps or pushes products layer by layer from the pallet and transfers them onto the outfeed conveyor. The outfeed conveyor sends the unloaded products to subsequent processing, packaging or storage zones. Upon completion of depalletizing for one layer, the lifting system adjusts the height for the next layer. The above operations repeat until all goods on the pallet are fully unloaded.
